Soli nel turbinio del pianeta
Sempre più soli e inermi nella guerra
A salvarci non c'è nessun profeta
Spunta il nuovo giorno e cala la notte
La vita va via senza ritegno
Ogni cosa da fare vuol le botte
Siamo soli al mondo senza un compagno
I fiori pensano di essere alberi
Alberi che si credono foresta
Gli uomini che si spacciano da Dio
Invece di amare diffondono odio
La vita da oro diviene modesta
E l'amore si quantifica in zeri

Life goes by without restraint
Everything to do takes a beating
We are alone in the world without a mate
Flowers think they are trees
Trees that think they are forest
Men who pretend to be God
Instead of loving they spread hate
Life from gold becomes modest
And love is quantified in zeros
