disse,quel giorno,mia madre
tenendomi fra le braccia mentre piangevo.
Non pensare a quell'amore o pensaci così:
Pensalo come a quei fiori che pianti
in giardino ogni anno
t’insegneranno
che anche loro
devono appassire
cadere
radicare
crescere
per poter fiorire.
Tu come loro dopo un amore finito,
Sarai rifiorita e più forte e bella di prima...
È così fu!

ma mère a dit ce jour-là
me tenant dans ses bras pendant que je pleurais.
Ne pensez pas à cet amour ou n'y pensez pas comme ceci :
Pensez-y comme à ces fleurs que vous plantez
dans le jardin chaque année
ils t'apprendront
qu'eux aussi
ils doivent dépérir
automne
racine
grandir
afin de s'épanouir.
Tu les aimes après un amour fini,
Vous serez à nouveau épanouie, plus forte et plus belle qu'avant...
