Masticadores Italia:
Since when do you write? What was one of the first experiences you learned that language has power?
Natalia Castelluccio:
I was a teenager and I always wrote what my heart felt for the joyful and sad events that this journey, called life, gave me. This writing of mine was the first experience that made me understand the power of the word, being able to convey what you feel and the sensations and emotions, it is an extraordinary fact to bring you closer and make you known to other people.
Masticadores Italia :
In your working day, how much time do you spend writing?
Natalia Castelluccio:
In my day I spend a lot of time reading, writing comes naturally to me and can happen to me at any time. It all depends on what inspires me or on my mood at the moment.
Masticadores Italia :
Have you ever thought about writing under a pseudonym?
Natalia Castelluccio:
Yes, in the past, I wrote a sort of diary where I wrote down my thoughts, reflections and poems with the intention of publishing them using a pseudonym. Then I opened a blog where I use my real name.
Masticadores Italia:
Do you try to be more original or do you give the readers what they want?
Natalia Castelluccio:
Actually, I never try to be what I'm not. I'm spontaneous and what I write belongs to me, I enjoy pleasing others but of course you can't please everyone. In any case, it's me, for better or for worse. bad.
Masticadores Italia:
Are you working on a new project now? Tell us about your latest project. Natalia Castelluccio:
Yes, I'm working on publishing a collection of my poems which will soon be out. And I continue to write on my blogs and beyond.
Masticadores Italia:
What would you say is your hallmark as a writer?
Natalia Castelluccio:
Good question! I think it's simplicity, whoever reads me understands what I wrote and what I felt at that moment while writing, what I think and who I am (this is told to me by my readers).
Masticadores Italia:
Do you think that accessing the reader who reads on a tablet, computer or mobile phone, in different spaces (train, bus, subway) can help you to be more widely read?
Natalia Castelluccio:
I think this is a modern way to be read. Today we all have a mobile phone or tablet and with the frenetic pace of life, these tools allow us to write and read what we like most quickly and anywhere.
Masticadores Italia:
Do you think Masticadores' bet in the search for that digital reader is correct? What is your opinion?
Natalia Castelluccio:
Yes, Masticadores is magnificent, the player is digital. Thanks to portability, we have everything at hand. Let's start from there and nobody forbids us to buy our beautiful book and enjoy it the old-fashioned way by leafing through it at home.

What did your participation as a writer in Masticadores give you?
Natalia Castelluccio:
For me it was a pleasure and an honor to participate and collaborate with Masticadores. An encounter born spontaneously and knowing that they appreciate and divulge my thoughts and my poems gratifies me a lot.
